  3.             DRIVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  7. Copy DGIS.EXE and DGIS.OUT into the <DGIS> subdirectory on your hard drive.

  9. If DGIS is executed in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, modify your AUTOEXEC.BAT so 
  10. that the line executing DGIS reads
  11.  
  12.             C:\DGIS\DGIS
  13.  
  14. Copy the DGIS.VRS file into the <WordPerfect 5.1> subdirectroy.
  15.  
  16.           REBOOT the system
  17.  
  18. Change to the WORDPERFECT subdirectory and execute WP.
  19.  
  20. Execute the <SHIFT> F1 function
  21.  
  22. When the Menu comes up select <2> for Display
  23.  
  24. When the choices appear select <Graphic Screen Type>
  25.  
  26. When the video choices appear select <DGIS Interface>
  27.  
  28. ** There are two selections, BASE or UPDATE.  These refer to the version
  29.    of WordPerfect that you are using.  WordPerfect Corp. made a running
  30.    code change in Ver. 5.1 so you may need to use UPDATE rather than the
  31.    BASE selection.  The problem that will be seen if the wrong selection 
  32.    is chosen, is that text in the VIEW mode will be broken up, and 
  33.    erroneously spaced.

  36. Of the three selections choose 
  37.                            <DGIS - WordPerfect - Base>
  38.  
  39. Exit the configuration menu and you should have the driver set.  
  40.  
  41. Note:  The DGIS 1024 x 768 driver for Wordperfect 5.1 is for
  42.        the View mode of Wordperfect 5.1.  The Edit mode will
  43.        still appear in standard VGA text resolution.
